Bizzy Bone The Gift
AMC
Bone thugs-n-harmony are going through some creative differences which has lead to solo releases by each member. On Bizzy's 2nd effort, "The Gift", he really goes deep inside and gives us his all. The production on this disc is average, but Bizzy still maintains considering he funded the whole project himself. "Father" and "Jesus" are the weakest cuts but have the strongest message. Songs to check for are "Murderah", "Still Thuggish Ruggish", and "Don't Be Dumb". He also takes time to diss his former group on "Before I Go" and "Don't Doubt Me". This release like the last demonstrates Bizzy's singy rhyme style which is a cut above anyone else doin it. Bizzy will continue to be a star whether in a group or solo.
Gemelli Diversi 4x4
Best Sound
This has to be the hardest review I've had to write because Gemelli Diversi is an Italian group meaning no english. I can say the members Thema, Grido, ThG, and Strano's flows remind me of Will Smith with very commercial beats. The song range from Mid-tempo to love ballads with Italian lyrics laced over them. "Non Dirlo Al Tuoi" is a remake of Men At Work's classic "Down Under". The hottest cut is "Quattro per Quattro".
