"Stand for something or fall for anything" this is the mind state of Lamar Bradford (Furious Stylz), Gordon Whitman (G or Da Don), & Carlos Evans (Los) collectively known as Against The Fake (A.T.F.). Against The Fake stared in 1997 in Anniston, Alabama as a combination of solo artist. Their chemistry for writing and performing forced these solo artists to combine into one group. When asked why the group took the name of Against The Fake they replied, "In order to be taken serious in the music industry you got to stand for something, we stand for all the real people, the little people, the forgotten people, the voiceless, faceless majority of youth with a voice that seems to be mute to the worlds ears."

Their lyrics are concise and to the point and their concepts are imaginative and well thought out. On stage their intensity is felt as these "Pros" as they like to say, stand and deliver an Energetic and Enlightening arrangement of lyrics to simulate even the most skeptical of hip-hop media. They have performed with Organized Noize recording artists Witchdoctor & Cool Breeze & Dreamworks recording artists Deadly Venom. They are currently promoting their debut album Uncharted Waters. This is the hottest Album to come out of the Alabama area. If this is a sign of things to come, Against The Fake will be here to entertain and educate the masses of the hip-hop culture.
