Kant B Caught

Finally, this much-anticipated group has emerged on the rap scene. Lil Bone, Shoat, Mr. Bugz B, and Lucc Luga a.k.a. Kant B Caught! Despite the fact that very little has every materialized in terms of rap music from their area, these Oregon natives are quickly building a reputation as some of the tightest lyricists to hit the rap scene. The debut Album, which is entitled Caught Up, features songs that appeal to rap fans as well as R&B. The tracks 'Can You Hear Me' and 'Love Don't Wait' are both laced with smooth hip-hop/R&B mixes, wich lyrical content containing messages for all listeners.

Why did the group come up with the name Kant B Caught?
2 reasons. 1) Kant B Caught really means we refuse to be caught slipping by those trying to creep up unnoticed. Nothing from nothing, leaves nothing, remember that! 2) We also call ourselves Kant B Caught because we've been steadily progressing over the years in terms of music. Now we feel we've reached a point to where out expressions are far more than just words to a beat. Others will definitely have to pick up the pace if they want to come see us on this one. Listen to the compositions on our debut album and you will feel how serious we are about our music and our careers. Whether its laing tracks in the studio, touring, doing interviews you name it, our focus is one thing and one thing only, that's to take Kant B Caught to another level. A level no one will be able to catch up to, fo sho!

Recent Acomplishments
Since the kick off of the new millennium, Kant B Caught has been busy working on the completing of their debut album entitled "Caught Up." While doing so, they have been performing with some of the industry's most prestigious artists including Nelly, DJ Quik, Sugar Free, Donell Jones, IMX, Three-6 Mafia, Snoop Dogg, Mystikal, and others. Kant B Caught also won the 6th annual Black Music Festival Showcase, which was held in Portland, Oregon. Judges of this even were representatives of Priority Records, Warner Brother Records, EPIC Records, Avatar Records, and Radio Facts (online e-zine). Product was distributed to representatives of the panel, who gave favorable responses to the single "My City" (performed during the event).
