Money Marc & Roposul

Money Marc and Roposul, the beatmaker and the street prophet. Set to explode with their hard knock, mind-locking crunk mix of Southern bass, heavy metal and hitting it hard with 808. Money Marc and Roposul are poised to take center stage with their unique style of heavy metal-bass-hiphop. Coming from the Dirty South. Stone Mountain, Georgia to be exact. Inspired by rappers such as NWA, Ice Cube, Dr. Dre, and Tupac Shakur, Money Marc and Roposul set their minds to make music and have since been working on mastering their skills since they were young teenagers.

Proving himself to be a bonafide producer, Money Marc has been crafting tracks and beats with his 4-track recorder, beat machine, and 6-track keyboard from his mini-studio at home. He's well known at the "Brick Road" for producing demo tracks for aspiring rappers in his neighborhood on Hambrick Road.

Money Marc himself started out wanting to be a rapper but at age 14, he got hooked on spinning turntables and has been mixing sounds ever since. Knowing that a lot of successful producers started out working from their homes, Money Marc saved money (hence, the name Money Marc), bought equipment and has been cranking out hard infectious basslines and tight bounce-inspired beats. "They did it from their homes, I know I can do it, too." he said. "There's too much money to be made."

Dubbed with the name Roposul for his prophetic rhyming and lyrical flow, Roposul has been freestyling since he was 16. Influenced by Busta Rhymes, Tupac, Dr. Dre, and ffellow-Atlantan's OutKast. Roposul's love and appreciation for rap music led him to writing and reciting rhymes. Dedicated to his street poetry, he has over 1000 songs written to date. Born in Tacoma, Washington, Roposul a.k.a. Robert Plummer grew up in Decatur/Stone Mountain, Georgia area. Living next door to Money Marc, the two connected and have been working together diligently to break out hard with their debut album. Their first single "Mind Lock" is scheduled for release this summer on Black Monolith Records and is executive produced by Aldred Ponder.
