Ovadose
Hailing from the Southwest Atlanta is the new group Ovadose. While the hardcore hip-hop genre is not unique, the unique flavor and sound that they bring to it is what's truly unique. The music offers up something for everyone to enjoy, from crunk, to club, to radio joints...Ovadose is covering all the bases.
Being together since 1997, the group has put together an impressive lineup of talented artists and producers. The members are Key, Casper, Cato, Greg, Cooley P, Quin, and their producer Perk. 2001 has seen the release of Ovadose's debut album The Way It Is, which was released on Zillionare Records with distribution by Select-O-Hits.
Their album features the street bangers "Make That Thang Clap" (accompanied by a video that was debuted on Rnation this week) and "Mean Mug" (performed on Rnation live this week). With smaller factions within the group, Ovadose plans to put out several solo projects as well as another new Ovadose album in the near future. Ovadose is planning to flood the streets with raw hardcore, that's the way it is...and haters won't have any say in it.
