Truly Amazzing a.k.a. Tazz

To continue in the Southern tradition of rap and hip hop in the late nineties, it takes talented wordplay, an aility to make listeners follow them into a rhyme, and the savvy to vividly portray southern experiences on wax. In other words it takes someone Truly Amazzing!!!

TAZZ (acronym for Truly Amazzing) combines these skills with an infectious performance energy that comes to life on CD's and at live shows. Lyrically, TAZZ is head and shoulders above many emcees that are enjoying major airplay and retail sales...here is a taste:

TAZZ has worked hard for the last several years to build his career by making his presence known at the Black College Radio and Music Conference talent showcase and the Grand Opening of Crunk City in Decatur. TAZZ's "Summertime" was overwhelmingly DUG on the "Dig It or Dish It" segment of Hot 97.5 (WHTA Atlanta) and " 'Bem Ho!!!" featured on several well-selling mix CD's. "Strikly Reprezzentin'" was posted to the mp3.com website and was a 1998 #4 on the rap chart (based on the number of downloads) without any more promotion than adding the song to the site and word-of-mouth. "Summertime" is a 1999 top ten of the mp3 rap charts, one of ten songs selected by Ice-T as his Ice Picks, and received strong support form southern/midwestern record pools. The single "Statechoklaim" from the album Hated With Respect is being supported strongly by Southern Radio.
